You guys, I must make taco salad once a week.
New camera… feeling like a boss.
Now let’s make some feta dip, amigos.
It has been a while since I’ve posted, but we got a nice little rain storm this weekend which left me a little time to do some baking. The water turned a nice shade of brown (thanks to all the lovely runoff), and I usually like to stay out of the water for a few days when that happens (unlike Miles who was surfing in the rain yesterday).
As an avid enjoyer of foods, it can be torture to be drinking every meal in juice form, (although I have been enjoying it more than I thought). This soup is basically a big hot pot full of all the veggies that we have been juicing (minus the garlic).
There are people who LOVE curry, and people who HATE curry. No one is ever on the fence about it.
I’m a curry lover.
So like many of you, Miles and I were feeling a little mmm.. how you say… heavy? after the holidays and we decided to do a little “cleanse” of our own. In my opinion that if you exercise daily, and eat right proportions that there’s no need to do diets or “cleanses”. If you’re happy and able to move around the way you want, then I think its all good (isn’t that what life is about? who has time to watch every little thing that goes in their mouth?).
Sometimes lettuce can just get in the way of what a salad is really all about… the cheese, the dressing and the croutons. Just kidding! THE VEGGIES! I love a big bowl of grated carrots (so easy to eat vs big chunks), cucumber, tomatoes and onion. Who needs that pesky lettuce!
